Vendors:

Thank you for your interest in vending at the 10th Annual Maryland State BBQ Bash in Bel Air, MD. It’s hard to believe that we are already celebrating our 10th Anniversary! We are planning to make this year very special and are looking forward to welcoming more BBQ competitors, food vendors, and crafters/exhibitors than ever before. Please help us spread the word so we can attract some new teams and vendors to this year’s event.

Each vendor will have a space for the entire event, Friday and Saturday, and MUST be open during ALL event hours. Set-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 and MUST be completed by noon for inspections. Tear-down will NOT be permitted until AFTER the event closes at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011.

Vendors who have participated in the Maryland State BBQ Bash in the past will be given preference until Friday, May 13, 2011. New vendors MAY be selected, but only AFTER past vendors have been selected first AND only IF there are slots still available. Payment MUST be received by Friday, May 13, 2011. A $50.00 late fee will be assessed after Friday, May 13, 2011. Your completed registration form DOES NOT reserve your space for the event. You will NOT be registered for the event until payment is received. Registration for the event will close Friday, July 15, 2011.

FOOD VENDORS: Electricity will be available for each space and water will be located nearby. As always, water will need to be carried from a central sink. NO hoses or hook-ups allowed. Each food vendor MUST obtain an individual health permit from the Harford County Health Department. Please call 410-877-2312 for all of the details. ANY/ALL food vendors that will be selling any form of BBQ product (chicken, ribs, pork, or brisket) MUST participate in the 10th Annual Maryland State BBQ Bash Championship. The fee for entering the contest is included in your vendor fee. This year we are offering THREE options for food vending space and ALL electrical fees are included. You will no longer be required to arrange for additional electrical service from our electrical contractor. Your options are:

  • 40x30 ($3,000.00 with up to 50 Amps of electric available),
  • 20x30 ($1,300.00 with up to 30 Amps of electric available), or
  • 10x30 ($500.00 with up to 20 Amps of electric available).

Additional electricity is available for $150.00.  Please contact us directly at 443-823-1797 if additional electricity is needed.

CRAFTERS/EXHIBITORS: This year, we are offering space for merchants, artists, and non-profits. Space size for all merchants is 10 X 10. You will need to provide chairs, canopies, and tables. There is NO ELECTRICITY in the crafter/exhibitor area - NO EXCEPTIONS.
