2009 – 8th ANNUAL
MARYLAND BARBECUE BASH!


Event Overview:

The Maryland BBQ Bash is a barbecue themed street festival featuring the Maryland State BBQ Championship contest where 50 competition teams from the Mid-Atlantic area and beyond will compete for $10,000 in cash prizes.

The Bash also features live music featuring local, regional and national acts. The event also includes top quality barbecue and other food vendors, sponsor displays, crafts and other exhibits, a farmers market and a kids play and entertainment area.

The Bash is free for the public and has regularly drawn over 20,000 attendees for the two days. The BBQ Bash is one of the most anticipated and exciting community events in Harford County, with a following throughout the Baltimore metropolitan region and beyond.

Location and Hours:

The BBQ Bash is in the State Courthouse parking lot and surrounding area at Bond and Thomas Streets in beautiful and historic Downtown Bel Air, Maryland.

Friday August 14 – 4 PM to 10 PM
Saturday August 15 – Noon to 10 PM

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Sponsorships are available at the $5,000, $1,500, and $500 levels. Benefits include recognition in local and regional radio and print advertising, advertising in the event program, poster and banner recognition and booth display opportunities during the event, web site recognition and participation in the VIP Sponsor Reception. Participation Opportunities:

Limited openings are available for food vendors, BBQ Competitors, BBQ Judges (must be KCBS Certified) and craft and exhibit spaces. Please contact us for fee schedule and details.
