Contestants:

Thank you for your interest in being a competitor at the 9th Annual Maryland State BBQ Bash Championship, a KCBS Qualifier Event, in Bel Air, MD. The contest will include the four KCBS categories (chicken, pork ribs, pork brisket, and beef brisket) and judging will begin at noon on Saturday, August 14, 2010. Total prize money will be $10,000.00. Check-in will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 and ALL set-ups must be completed by 1:00 p.m. for inspections.

Contestant spaces are located in parking lots. Any/All tents, canopies, etc. MUST be self-supporting (NO STAKES – NO EXCEPTIONS). Electricity and water will be located at the spaces or nearby. Water, as always, will need to be carried from a central sink. NO hoses or hook-ups allowed. The average size of each contestant’s site is 20 X 25. Some are larger and some are smaller, but the smallest site size is 20 X 20. If you are interested in competing, please complete the form below. Completed applications and payments are due no later than Friday, May 14, 2020.

Past competitors will be given preference until Friday, May 14, 2020. New competitors may be selected, but only AFTER past competitors have been selected first AND only IF there are slots still available. We will notify you by Friday, May 21, 2020 if you have been selected to compete in the event. Your payment will not be deposited until the application is approved.
